Any streetwear/Hypebeast fanatic will know that Tokyo is one of the best places for used fashion, sneakers, accessories and so much more. It's a veritable Disneyland of sorts for anyone looking, which is why it can definitely be overwhelming to say the least. Here are our pick of the best locations of the best used shops – some are the same company, but we've sifted through the largest and most varied locations out there.

This is the Crème de la Crème of Ragtag locations and should be your very first stop. The main ground floor is a curation of new items, mens and womens accessories and sneakers, while the bottom floor is all mens streetwear and luxury brands. Take your time and go through the racks, because a lot of people visit this spot and often misplace their items in wrong locations.

This smaller Kindal is a bit hidden on a 2nd floor building with just a small street sign pointing at it, but because it's in the heart of Shibuya's frequented 1 Chome block, it's very popular. Organization-wise it's a tad messy but you'll find some great gems if you take your time.

Another excellent spot, KOMEHYO focuses more on luxury and high-end used fashion moreso than streetwear, but that means finding brands like READYMADE, OFF-WHITE, Moncler, Junya Watanabe and more for more than 50-60% off. The 2nd floor selection is most popular, but don't forget to go up to the 3rd floor as well for more shoes and accessories.

This is perhaps the most popular entry on this list, primarily because of its presence and location – you seriously can't miss it as you're walking down Cat Street. Known for its unique staircase up to the second floor, you'll find endless wall-to-wall racks of SOPH., NBHD, WTAPS, Bape, Supreme, CDG, Stone Island, Louis Vuitton and so much more but like the other prime 2nd-hand shops, take your time. The customer service here is also world class.

This one is a classic location that's turned hands a few times. With its floor-to-ceiling glass, you shouldn't be able to miss this spot even though it is tucked in the back alley of the Ura-Hara streets. The store has been dominated by Supreme racks since the good ol' days, but don't let that deter you from perusing the rest of the racks – they have a ton of vintage The North Face, Americana brands and even some rare pieces from newer streetwear labels like God Selection XXX, READYMADE, thisisneverthat and more.

Daikanyama is a great area for up-and-coming streetwear and more smaller niche brands, but this 2nd Street location is a great location simply for its size and selection. Of course you'll find those less-known brands here too which makes this one stand out a bit more from the other streetwear-focused locations. It's also extremely close to the train station so chances are you won't walk passed it.

We love this tiny location that's embedded inside the Marui department store as its an unassuming break from full-priced retail shopping. Take a quick break and shop the small selection, and remember to check out what the mannequins are wearing as well – you'll often miss out on some gems if you're too focused on just the racks here.

Shimokitazawa brings out the true fashionheads with its ultra-niche and avant garde fashion brands, but this 2nd Street is great for its curation of these labels. The staff were a bit shy and quiet when we went, but don't be afraid to ask for help if you find something you want to try on.

This RAGTAG is a bit of an oddball, since Ginza isn't really the place for secondhand streetwear. Nevertheless, you could find some great pieces at this small, unassuming location, so definitely swing by after you're done with your luxury label shopping and Dover Street Market Ginza.

This one is very easily missed, due to its 4th floor location within a corporate business building. Nevertheless, it remains one of our top destinations in Shinjuku, largely because of how lowkey it could be. This one is a bit more focused on modern brands and luxury, but we've found some great streetwear pieces from this one. One of our top five spots in this guide for sure.

Another smaller spot on this guide, this corner location is a great stop if you're second hand store-hunting. The only downside to this location is the cramped aisles and even-more-cramped racks, but take your time and go through it all – you'll definitely find some great pieces by the streetwear staples and even some luxury labels mixed in.
