It caters to so many people, while also holding a special place for locals and being approachable to tourists and visitors alike.

This takeaway stall located directly under Nakameguro Station is a spin-off of I’m Donut?'s popular main location. From the mind of popular Fukuoka baker Amam Dacotan, I’m Donut? offers a variety of nama fresh doughnuts defined by their chewy texture. While the sweet takes on the humble donut are undoubtedly favorites, make sure to try the savory options that will be sure to excite your tastebuds.

Straight from Aichi prefecture's produce market, Daiwa Nakameguro is a takeaway that offers sandwiches made with fruit. From, kiwi, pear, grape, strawberry, and mango, each sandwich is strategically built with humble white bread and whipped cream for a sight of visual delight.

Operated by a barista that made it to the finals of the World Latte Art Championships, Swell Coffee Roasters is relatively new but delivers Nakameguro with an impressive display of coffee. Housed in a simple concrete building, the cafe features ample space for seating and relaxing with a nice cup of coffee. Swell Coffee Roasters is a great choice for a nice place to take a break before dinner.

Proudly serving the residents of Nakameguro since 1966, this yoshuko restaurant is known for the classics. For those looking for a casual meal touched by Japan's past, Kitchen Punch is the place to go. Omurice, hamburg steak, and pork cutlet are all safe bets for a great experience of Japanese Western food.

Perfect for getting the night going, Uotetsu is an izakaya that aims to please. Offering an array of Japanese delights, this restaurant has something for everyone, though seafood is definitely a special focus. With beers and high balls flowing, the meal at Uotetsu can only get better.

Unlike other izakayas, FUNFAN is quirky. From its Chinese-inspired menu to its decor, this restaurant is just fun and an excellent choice for dining with a big party. FUNFAN attracts a younger crowd that provides a lively time marked by a washroom that plays 'Dragon Ball Z' audio and a hanging jug of snake-infused Habushu alcohol from Okinawa.

Unlike the usual cocktail bars in Tokyo, Rokusho centers around tequila and mezcal. Walking into the source for libations, you are welcomed in a glowing wall of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila. The intimate bar offers a calm way to enjoy drinks in the equally quaint neighborhood.

Fauvism Cocktail & Spirits bar offers a sophisticated experience in Nakameguro. Serving cocktails made with high-quality alcohol, the bar features a striking interior design reminiscent of speakeasy bars of yesteryear. The talented bartenders behind the bar invite guests to enjoy spirits through classic cocktails and a plethora of original creations.

3110NZ by LDH kitchen serves as an intersection between art and food in Nakameguro. A collaboration between Shibuya art gallery Nanzuka Underground and omakase sushi restaurant Sushi Saito. The space interestingly serves a free public art gallery in the daytime and restaurant at night. The omakase sushi experience is intimate with just eight counter seats that are framed by the art on display.

For an interesting end to the night, head over to Kohmeisen. Opened in 2014 and designed by Kentaro Imai, this onsen bath house features a calming color scheme and design with a contemporary mural of Mount Fuji by artist Gravity Free. Kohmeisen offers three baths, massage carbonated, and col water, accented by beneficial radium-rich water and a sauna.
