Arms Clothing Store

"This secondhand clothing store was started in Yutenji by Saisu, a former employee of the famous secondhand clothing store 'VOICE,' where I worked about 30 years ago. He is famous in the industry for his wide range of lineups and his unique selection of military items. The shop is open until late at night, making it a last stop for stylists, and also a place where competitors can stop by on their way home. Even if you stop by drunk on your way home from a night of drinking, you will be warmly welcomed (laughs)."

"A vintage clothing store in Shimokitazawa, established by Takashi, a former N.Hoolywood staff member. His unique selection of vintage clothes edited with a sense of style is the talk of the town. The selection of both men's and women's clothing is attractive and challenging enough to be enjoyed by those who love clothes. Enjoy shopping here while slowly talking about his world view."

Safari 1

"Japan is a vintage powerhouse with the most good vintage clothes in the world. The owner, Mr. Murayama, was one of the first to recognize this fact and is a pioneer in consignment sales specializing in vintage. The fact that he carefully sells the vintage items entrusted to him at a conscientious consignment return rate is proof of the trust that has been placed in him over the years. Even though they do not go to the U.S. to buy, the store gathers world-class rarities."

VELVET

"A unique vintage clothing shop run by a former editor. Owner Tomoki Takaso is well versed in Japanese designer brands as well as high-end brands. His ability to pick up items based on the extensive knowledge he gained in his former life as an editor is also appealing. It is a body that knows the original vintage clothing of the design. A store with a good mix and match feel."

Mr. Clean

"Mr. Kurihara is a famous buyer. He spares no time to travel all over the U.S., indiscriminately purchasing and selling what he deems to be good regardless of genre or era. As a creator, I am grateful for his selection, which is not influenced by trends."

okidoki

"A long-established vintage clothing store with an appealing 'quirky selection,' as they call it, that will become neo-vintage in the near future. They also sell at a conscientious price without adding much to the price they purchase. So bargains can be found here, which is one of the charms of this place. If you have a discerning eye, you are sure to find something and end up buying it."

Fifth General Store

"A select vintage clothing store that buys from Russia and minor European countries. Military, work, and other details made in major countries are often designed to look somehow rustic, simple, and out of place. For me, as a creative person, this is a selection that resonates with me. The store also has selections by local creators, making it a good and interesting place to store."

LAILA VINTAGE

"Laila Vintage is a store that I always introduce when I am asked by overseas designers if I want to buy designer vintage in Japan. There are masterpieces from iconic collections of each era, including rare items from when legendary designers were working for certain maisons. This is a designer vintage clothing store where all the pieces are good and the selection is wonderfully chic and appealing."

Props Store Annex

"Props Store Annex has an unparalleled selection of new school clothing, and although I used to import streetwear in the 90s, it was never edited in such depth. I was a parallel importer of streetwear in the 90s, but I had never seen such an in-depth edit, so I was very interested. The main store, Props Store, is a select store where you can buy current items influenced by past eras. Both are good stores with style."

BerBerJin

"An overwhelming supply. A famous store that buys a wide range of vintage and neo-vintage items with great taste. Fujihara Yutaka, the famous director of the store, carefully teaches the history and knowledge of vintage items. People from all over the world come to Berberjin for this. This vintage shop represents Japan and the world."
